Bridgecreek Tops $300 Million

Bridgecreek Investment Management announced Wednesday that it recently exceeded $300 million in assets under management.

The firm was founded in 2004 by Chuck Fuller, Bridgecreek’s chief executive officer, and Brian Carney, chief investment officer. Bridgecreek, focusing on high-net-worth families in the Southwest, has clients in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Houston, and Kansas City, Mo.

“We are excited about our growth to date and are grateful for the clients who have placed their trust in us,” Fuller said in a written comment. “It is a fantastic partnership between manager and client due to the discrete and personalized nature of our business.”

Bridgecreek, with a minimum investment of $750,000, now manages money for 60 families.

“When we started our firm, the one thing we never wanted to sacrifice was the management of our client portfolios,” Carney said in a written statement. “I think sometimes at larger organizations the portfolio managers can get sidetracked by committee meetings, compliance, and processes. . . . Research has always been our No. 1 focus, and we intend to keep it that way.”
